Why tour Australia by air?

Firstly, the shear size of Australia lends itself to flying, which enables you to see as much of this diverse continent as possible. To give you a clear sense of the vast expanse of Australia, compare Europe mapped over it:

Australia is the world’s 6th largest country, but has a population of only 23 million. A flight from East to West is 4000km, and boasts large areas of uncontrolled airspace, allowing you the freedom to truly explore and enjoy flying your aircraft as you wish.

The country truly shows its size as a continent when taking in the incredible variety of landscapes, from Outback deserts, to Tropical Rainforests, and the snow-capped Mountains in between, golden beaches hundreds of miles long. Vast savannahs, exotic islands, ocean reefs, world class tourist cities and, of course, Australia’s unique wildlife. Yes, they have Kangaroos, but have you seen a Wombat, a Quokka and an Echidna?

The ancient Aboriginal culture of Australia offers fascinating insight into a very unique civilisation, with many customs and traditions to explore and experience.

Australia also has several beautiful cities to visit during your stay. Each one tourist-friendly and unique in its own right. Four of the world’s top ten most liveable cities are in Australia, with Melbourne topping the list for several years running. This is a remarkable achievement for a single country, and no doubt very well deserved!

A visit Down Under is not complete without a trip to the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House to truly appreciate its grand size and exquisite location on Sydney Harbour
